| HOWTO Submit a File |
Here is a step by step procedure for submitting a file.
Please follow this procedure to ensure that your code is promptly validated and made availabe for download.
OK, here are the steps to submit your code file(s):
- If your code contains multiple files, you must zip them up before uploading.
- Only TXT, ZIP, DOC and PDF files will be accepted at this time. However, this may change later, but don't count on it.
- Please name your file in the format: code_name_version.extension (i.e. my_source_code_1_0_0.txt)
This will make it easier to replace if you make revisions to the code file.
- If you are unsure what category yours fits into, then read the category description and put it in the one that best fits.
When in doubt, choose Misc.
- Choose the link "Submit your Code" in the top right of this page.
- All fields are required.
- You must be a registered member of this forum and logged in to submit a file.
- Once your code file is submitted, the admin is notified via e-mail.
- Your code file will be reviewed and tested where possible.
- Only working codes will be be allowed on the database. Non-functional code will be dismissed.
- If there are large and unacceptable problems with the code, you will be notified via email that it is unacceptable.
- I (usually) WILL NOT be fixing your files for you, however, the admin reserves the right to change it in any way for any reason.
- After the review/testing, the code will be released for download.
- Be patient during the review process.
