Well... since there's so few posts, I actually have a question.

Does anyone know of a way to have a user (that could be anywhere from an admin to a home user experience wise) be able to install and configure apache + mysql + php without any real chance of errors?

Like if there's any "one-install" type of program out (that's kept current) for it.

(any multi-platform "programs" that I develop are web based).

like this...XAMPP

I haven't used it, so I can't vouch for it. But after you've done the Apache+PHP+MySQL once or twice its pretty easy...if you need some assistance with it let us know...

That could work I think... since I'll just be giving out the location to people that want a local web-based app... it saves me having to tell them what to do, since my install of the programs wasn't hard... but had to debug it.
