Hi,
   I'm trying to install a quick online-shop for a friend who selling antique lamps, since he doesn't know anything about computer or programming, I showed him some premade shopping script.

   But I have one small problem, I kept getting this error :

"Warning: fputs(): supplied argument is not a valid stream resource in J:\WEBSITE\WWW\Shop\install.php on line 41" during the install.

Any idea why the fput isn't working?

Maybe disabled on the server for security reasons?

Missing file or something.

A couple things you could check...

is this program compatible with your version on PHP (4 or 5?)

check the actual directory being looked at in the install (line 41)...is it really a directory? and does Apache have the proper permissions for that directory? I think fput is the same as fwrite, so I assume Apache needs write access...
